Ozaukee National Night Out

Night Out is a campaign involving citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and local officials. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime prevention and drug awareness, generate support for and participation in local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and to send a message to criminals letting them know that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Each year, a different police agency has the opportunity to host this completely free and family friendly event.  The Saukville Police Department is proud to host Ozaukee National Night Out when it is our turn. The event is held at Grady Park in heart of Saukville.

Here in Ozaukee County we celebrate National Night Out by bringing our law enforcement together. We use the day to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We like having the opportunity to meet with people in a relaxed setting that includes food, games, and activities. We use National Night Out as a night to allow our kids to get to know the local law enforcement and learn that we are helpers in situations, not people to be feared.
