Permits, Applications & Licenses

Permitting & Inspection Services:

The Village of Saukville shares Building Inspection and Permitting Services with the Village of Grafton.  Building, Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing Permits and Inspections Services are administered by the Village of Grafton Inspection Department.  Residents and business owners are reminded that a permit is required before and construction work is started.  In some cases, Committee approval is required.  

Village of Saukville permit applications, as indicated above, are to be mailed to the Village of Grafton for processing; Checks made payable to the Village of Saukville.  

Permit forms will continue to be available at Saukville Village Hall and on our website, but all questions, permit processing, and inspection services for building, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC permits will be handled by the Village of Grafton Inspection Department.

Fire Suppression & Fire Alarm System Permits Required:
Effective February 10, 2020, the Village of Saukville requires a completed permit application for all new and alterations to existing Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems.  See Fire Protection Systems Permit & Info.

The Village of Saukville will continue to administer permits and inspections as required for signs, fences, committee review (business change of use, construction and zoning related), right of way, special event, and recreational burning.  Contact the Village of Saukville for information on these permits - 262-284-9423.
