Trash & Recycling General Information:

Trash and recycling service in the Village of Saukville is provided by Advanced Disposal ServicesCollection day is Thursday; Friday when a holiday occurs earlier in the regular work week (Monday - Thursday).  Carts must be placed curbside by 7 a.m. on collection days.  Residents are urged not to place trash loosely in trash carts as this will lead to odor and pest problems as well as blowing materials when the carts are emptied.  Any trash or recyclable materials placed curbside in any container other than the carts will NOT be collected.

Carts must face the street as indicated by the arrow on the cart, must be fully accessible, placed side by side, and must be placed with a minimum 3 feet of space between carts and/or other obstacles.

If your cart becomes damaged, please contact Village Hall at 284-9423 to request repair or replacement.

Large Item Pick-Up Service:

To dispose of large items, such as furniture, mattresses, and appliances, you must arrange for special pick-up.  There is a fee for large item disposal.  Contact Advanced Disposal directly at 800-387-0949 for prices and information.  Residents generating large amounts of refuse should also arrange for special pick-up in advance before placing trash curbside, or arrange for dumpster service.  You can also take items to the Advanced Disposal drop-off site at 803 N River Road, West Bend.

Ozaukee Iron & Metal, LLC in Port Washington will also accept some items for recycle or disposal.  Fees may apply.  Contact Ozaukee Iron & Metal directly for information - 262-284-4060.
