TRASH & RECYCLING
Trash & Recycling General Information:
Trash and Recycling Collection Service in the Village of Saukville is provided by Waste Management.
Curbside collection day for the Village of Saukville is Thursday (Friday on weeks when a major holiday falls Monday-Thursday).
The following rules apply:
• Roll-out carts must be used. Any trash or recyclables placed curbside in any container other than the carts will not be collected. Residents are urged not to place trash loosely in trash carts as this will lead to odor and pest problems as well as blowing materials when the carts are emptied.
• Carts must be curbside by 7:00 a.m. on pick-up day.
• Carts must face the street as indicated by the arrow, be fully accessible, and be placed with a minimum of three feet of space between carts and/or other obstacles.
• Recycle Collection - alternate Thursdays - collection schedule can be found in the Helpful Links section below or hard copy schedules are available at Village Hall. All recyclables can be placed in the same recycle cart.
• Electronic devices, such as computers, monitors, printers, TVs, Fax machines, photocopiers, VCR & DVD players, cannot be disposed of in your household trash cart.
• Carts are the property of Waste Management and must remain at the property should you move.
For REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED CARTS or COLLECTION ISSUES, contact the Waste Management Call Center directly at 1-888-960-0008.
